FELTON AND
PRESTON WYNNE
MEMORIAL HALL
The Memorial Hall was put up by the villages of Preston Wynne and Felton to remember those who fought in the First World War. The building was a receiving station for wounded soldiers on the south coast. After the war it was brought to Withington by train and from there to Preston Wynne. For a long time it was also used as a working men’s club. Regular events are arranged by the Hall Committee, ranging from ‘pub’ evenings to a flower show and Christmas lunch.
